Council – an international, non-profit, non-governmental
membership organization that brings together in a single forum both
the providers and users of communication services, as well as policy-makers,
technologists, lawyers, scientists and academics.
Pan-Pacific Education and Communication Experiments by Satellite (PEACESAT) - an organization that has been working to lessen the information and communication technology (ICT) divide in the Pacific Islands region for over 30 years. The mission of PEACESAT is to facilitate “development” and “public service” communications. PEACESAT works collaboratively with partners in the region to achieve its mission. Initially the PEACESAT network was based solely on satellite telecommunications and now includes public and private fiber, copper, and microwave network technologies.
Telecom Cook Islands – the primary
communications, telecommunications, broadcast, and data provider
to the Cook Islands and our primary contact for arranging consulting
assignments with Cook Islands government ministries.
United Nations Association of the Unites States,
Hawaii Division – a non-profit, non-partisan organization
that supports the work of the United Nations and encourages active
civic participation in the most important social and economic issues
facing the world today. The Hawaii Division sponsors the Pacific
Island Network which works to support technology development in
remote Pacific islands. |
