TechBridgeWorld collaborated with Ashesi University College in Accra, Ghana to teach a pilot course, Introduction to Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, in the summer of 2006. TechBridgeWorld students developed and conducted an initial field test of a low-cost braille writing tutor in collaboration with the Mathru School for the Blind in Bangalore, India. TechBridgeWorld facilitated student summer work with the Technology Consulting in the Global Community program in collaboration with Centro Informatico at Universidad Austral del Chile in Valdivia. TechBridgeWorld facilitated student summer work with the Technology Consulting in the Global Community program in collaboration with Bureau of Kwajalein Atoll Health Care Services in Ebeye, Marshall Islands. This pilot study investigated the role of technology in improving English literacy among underserved children in Accra, Ghana. This project utilized the Project LISTEN Reading Tutor in collaboration with a primary school.
