The following software tools developed by the iSTEP 2015 team have been released under the MIT Open Source license. We encourage you to download and use these materials.
Sign Book: A platform for teachers to create a local database of animations depicting a sign. This tool creates documentation of Kannada Sign Language (KSL) - the language used by students at the Mathru Center - to support new teachers and staff in learning the language.
Speak Up!: A suite of voice-powered games that explores the different aspects and impact voice can have. These games encourage students to vocalize and to exercise the volume and pitch of their voice, a step towards communication with their larger communities.
